The Surfisticats bring the beach party to any event, with twanging guitars and lap steel dripping with reverb, groovy bass and thunderous drums.
The band performs instrumental surf music, including covers of all of the classics, such as Wipe Out!, Surf Rider, Apache, Misirlou, Tequila and Walk, Don’t Run, and a range of well-known TV and movie themes, such as The Munsters, Hawaii Five-O and The Godfather.
They also play their own catchy and energetic original tunes: check them out on Bandcamp and Bopflix.
Regardless of the event - or the weather - the music evokes long summer days sipping cocktails on a sunny beach.
